Curriculum Enrichment

At Oakgrove Primary and Nursery School, we ensure that our well-sequenced broad and balanced curriculum gives all pupils the cultural capital to be successful both now and in the future. We want all pupils to experience the best that has ever been said, written and created. We want all pupils to experience, understand and respect the diverse cultures within our own local community and beyond. We want all pupils to be able to experience the awe and wonder of the wider world. This is further enhanced through carefully planned visits, residentials, visitors to school and community projects. Assemblies are then woven throughout the year to enable all pupils to understand their role as local and global citizens whilst creating opportunities for their personal, social and emotional development.
