Bright Futures for A Level Students
13 August 2026
Oakgrove’s students have achieved another impressive set of A Level results, with high levels of grades across a wide range of subjects and an increase of 5% in grades A* to B.
Many students have secured places at their first-choice universities, while others are progressing to apprenticeships, employment and specialist training programmes.
Standout performances were seen across the curriculum, with students achieving top grades in subjects including Mathematics, Sciences, English and Humanities.
Commending the students for the determination and commitment that has led to these exceptional results, Oakgrove’s Headteacher, Nicola Irwin-Morris, said:
“Every student should take great pride in their individual outcomes and the progress they have made during their time at Oakgrove School.
“Today is an opportunity to recognise not only academic achievement, but also the character, commitment and perseverance our students have shown throughout their studies. We are equally grateful to our dedicated teaching and support staff, whose expertise, encouragement and unwavering support have helped students realise their potential and prepare for the opportunities ahead.
“We wish all our students every success and happiness as they embark on the next stage of their journey.”
