Student’s Fundraising Recognised

Oakgrove was delighted to celebrate the remarkable achievements of one pupil who received the prestigious Chief Scout’s Unsung Heroes Award. Selected from hundreds of nominations nationwide, he was recognised as one of only 20 young people chosen for this honour. His dedication to fundraising has seen him raise an incredible £10,000 for Willen Hospice, alongside spending more than 1,050 nights camping. His inspiring efforts even attracted the attention of ITV News, who visited him to hear more about his fundraising journey.
